“Every zone also has more common ones that you can catch in multiple zones. You can find tons of Ratseverywhere, for example.”
I MEAN REALLY BLIZZARD?
REALLY?
THIS IS THE BEST YOU CAN DO?
Hey, Medivh, check this out. I think this will very much interest you.
From the looks of this, Mists might actually have a redeeming side… I’m smelling some Old God involvement in Alcaz Island. If that’s indeed the case, then it raises some questions about King Varian’s abduction and imprisonment there. After the visions of Yogg-Saron, we know that the Old Gods have manipulated events in Stormwind already, and could very well be responsible for the treachery that lead to the King’s capture by the Defias. It’s likely that Onyxia was the one who orchestrated that, and as a daughter of Deathwing, she was likely a pawn of the Old Gods as well. The influence of the Old Gods could also explain why Varian lost his memory.
Very interesting. Some pieces seem to be falling together, while new pieces are added with uncertainty as to where they go.
You do remember that Alcaz was originally inhabited by level 60 elite Naga, who were pawns of the Old Gods… And that part of the AQ opening quest chain was on the island, right? And while it now looks more Twilights Hammer-y, it’s pretty much always been an outpost for the Old Gods.
Mists of Pandaria Monk Overview. Watch me play the Monk and FINISH the MoP Beta. What did you think of the Monk class?
For my Warcraft fan followers. Not big on the idea of this expansion, but maybe some of you will like the video.
While I may not support the game, this guy playing it is classy as fuck. Cigars, a hat, and a beard?
Oxhorn is one of the classiest men ever.
Okay seriously this place is Kung Fu Panda all over again.
See??? I wasn’t kidding when I said it’s Kung Fu Panda online!
Oh I knew it was… But seeing it is different. It seriously looks exactly like the movie.
The Pandaren have nothing to do with Kung Fu Panda. They’ve been in the lore for a long time, as has Pandaria.

You act like you don’t realize that I’ve been playing Blizzard games for 14 years. I know Pandaria has been there forever. But the goddamn architecture and aesthetics are exactly what we see in Kung Fu Panda. EXACTLY. It’s not original at all, it’s KFP. Just because it’s not the same name, doesn’t mean that everything in that area isn’t inspired by it. I bet there’s a quest to investigate a prison with some escaped Tiger in it too.

Remember when we would shake our heads at people who bought lvl 80 toons on eBay? Now, this.
Are you freaking kidding me??? SERIOUSLY??? This is why I’m glad I don’t play WoW… The process of leveling is how you learn to play your class! This is freaking ridiculous!
I got a free boost for one character to 80 for being hit with a Scroll of Resurrection… As well as a free server/faction change to my friends’ faction/server.
I really don’t like that… I suppose it’s good for Blizzard from a business standpoint… For now at least… They’re really trying to keep their subscribers up since they already lost a TON from cataclysm and are going to be losing a lot more with Mists.
I know I was one wit 4.2…. Which is why I won’t be buying the month to get my friend his mount. TOR is enough for me, even though my playtime there has gone down too.
I’ve just quit playing MMOs all together. Last MMO I played was LOTRO because I wanted to get to Minas Tirith, but I couldn’t at level 1. Everything kills you on the way. Although I am very good at getting places I shouldn’t be able to in MMOs… I crossed the entire world of Silk Road Online at level 10ish… Took me an entire day and had about 50 different people res me.
Sounds like my Vanilla Gnome mage run through Wetlands to get to Darnassus.
Ah… I loved the old days of just running around WoW. Getting killed by everything. And the game used to force you to do that. Like my Warrior quest for Beserker stance… I had to travel through Horde lands, zones 5 levels too high for me, and just getting killed over and over until I made it to the island for my quest. It was the most awesome thing ever. Now you’re encouraged on a rather fixed quest path that doesn’t send you off on crazy suicide quests like that anymore… You can’t even go do other races starting quests anymore.
You still could as of the last time I played. My Worgen went and did the Night Elf starter zone for free rep….
But yeah, I still remember the Warlock epic mount quest. That thing was a monster. Now you just get the damn thing at the trainer.
Really? ‘Cause I tried to do some other starting zone quests for rep and it would never let me.
Could be you were way over leveled and didn’t have it set to show low level quests? But I went through during LK on my DK and did all of them that I possibly could… And I know I did it on my Worgen because the NElf cat mount is just the best in the game.
Nah… I had low level quests turned on. And actually… I wasn’t actually doing it for rep, I don’t think… It was on my warrior and I was going through the Cataclysm quests to see how they changed and see the new story.
I only did the NElf ones frequently, because of that Nightsaber. But, yeah, they didn’t really change much post-Cata.
I always liked doing the human quests because I freaking love humans. Plus, I could go through them very fast and learned to solo Hogger on some classes like my mage underlevel.
They removed Hogger from the forest and put him as the end boss of Stockades.
No they didn’t. He’s still in the forest. There’s a quest where you capture him and that’s how he gets to the Stockades. It was neat but kind of killed some of the fun of Hgger.
Oh, I never played a human, really. I just remember instance-findering my way into Stockades and kicking his ass in there.
